Four former Guantanamo Bay detainee protested in front of the US embassy in Uruguay on Friday today, to say “they were angry about being asked to leave a Uruguayan hotel”.

The four men claims the US government is not providing them sufficient financial support for resettlement.

El Ouerghi from Tunisia said “How am I supposed to pay for gas and water bills and food with only 15,000 pesos (roughly $600)?”
