Something one may not know about Guantanamo, is that the whole building is falling apart. With an average cost of 2.8 million dollar per prisonner, it is from far the most expensive emprisonnement facility there is. And the costs will continue to rise as facilities that were built to be temporary, like the Camp America Dining Facility, deteriorate.
Republicains didn’t wanted to close the prison because of the huge costs closing it would imply, now how come it’s even pricier to keep it from deteriorating?
