US Ambassador in Uruguay, showed worries on Monday (11/07/2016) about the lack of information on Abu Wa’el Dhiab – one of six former Guantanamo prisoners resettled in Uruguay – whereabout.

Uruguayan authorities claims he is in Brazil, however there is no record of him entering the country.

U.S. Ambassador Kelly Keiderling declared he could theoretically be a threat. She said “Everything is being done to understand what are the threats and find ways to reduce them.”
