This is a US torture camp

Although everything the US tells the world, there is no further doubts remaining about Guantanamo being a torture camp. The goal lying underneath the facility is clear, and getting clearer everyday. In this great article issued in The Guardian in January 2007 we learn even more about how things are really going on, and the different testimonies reported from Cuba are mindblowing. Inmates are repeatedly beaten, shackled in painful positions for long periods and subjected to sleep deprivation. They are also subjected to strobe lighting, loud music and extremes of hot and cold – all meant to break them psychologically and physically and as the article’s author says: “After five years of Guantánamo, do you feel any safer?”
